" What are you doing ?
Can't you see I'm working?
C'est quoi ce travail?
I'm not working yet.
I am learning to work.

Portrait of the high school student as a worker.
Is the high school student a worker like the others?

What is work? Their ?
You show me ?
In coat, in blue, in civilian clothes, in uniform?
A gesture, gestures, an expectation?
Tools ?

In the school space, the studio space is used to represent ourselves, to show ourselves, as a working worker. The studio space eliminates the context, portraits of high school students at work, concentrating as desired on gestures, body, clothes, tools.

And then what does work mean to you?
Words, a cry, joy, disgust ...
Attempted expression. "

Rafael Trapet

Rafaël Trapet, photographer, spends four days in Annonay with the first class of Conduct and Management of an Agricultural Operation to question the work, the gesture, the body. The program is extensive, there is little time, so a certain excitement is setting in. Sometimes, the pace is slowed down by issues that go beyond the initial subject and that jostle - and that's good because art is made for that. We are opposed in particular to posing on the image, to being shown elsewhere and in particular on the walls of the city since it is the intended destination.

Discussions are going well, the generations “clash”: ok for Facebook but not in a museum? Some resist, others invest as never before and discover an assurance that they did not suspect.

Finally, everything fits and is built. A few months later, the restitution is the high point that will bring everyone together. The images are displayed within the farm which welcomes young people in training - hanging on hay bales and backhoe loaders, a moment of anthology.
