JENNIFER YERKES

If photography is at the heart of the game LES MOTS DU CLIC, illustration also plays an educational role. Each word is enriched by an evocative and unique drawing which facilitates the understanding and assimilation of the vocabulary. The graphics for the LES MOTS DU CLIC game were created by educational illustrator Jennifer Yerkes.

Born in Minneapolis, Jennifer Yerkes spent her early childhood in Turkey, before returning to the United States, settling with her family in Iowa City. After studying graphic design, art and art history in the United States, Austria, Hungary and Scotland, Jennifer Yerkes settled in Strasbourg. She works there as a graphic designer, illustrator, and author, teaches design and offers illustration, graphic design and bookmaking and book-object workshops for all ages. She is one of the founding members of the Central Vapeur association.
