Work, a sensitive subject for these young adults in their final year of training. The cycle À l'huile de coude approaches it with hindsight, humor and poetry. The set of workshops (image analysis, digital shooting, film photography, stopmotion, staging, collage ...) plays with words, bodies, spaces and accessories:  Professionnal clothing invites participants to take training workshops and work clothes in new positions; Mechanics of gestures offers a reflection on the professional gesture; In black, in the chain relies on work-related expressions; Work plan and tools revisits the tools.

In 2019-2020, À l'huile de coude is carried out with two groups in an exceptional inter-establishment project. The first phase takes place in November 2019, with eight young people from IME La Croisée in Grand-Croix, the second in January 2020 with eight from IME Le Parc Révollier in Saint-Étienne.

In February, an intense day brings the two groups together at the Saint-Étienne mining museum for a creation workshop which allows part of the spaces of this emblematic place of the territory to be invested. A second collective session was to take place in March but it was canceled by the first confinement.

Likewise, the final exhibition was due to take place in May 2020. Postponed in November, it undergoes a second suspension. Determined to see it through, Stimultania and the teachers continue to maintain the link. In October-November, Jean-Michel Touzin, scenographer and installer, designs the exhibition modules, sober and elegant supports to accommodate the productions and allow a mobile exhibition scenography, reusable and adaptable to all places.

In December, Stimultania meets Le Magasin, a choreographic performance laboratory in Saint-Étienne, a space dedicated to artists' residences, dance and performance, open to the street thanks to large windows on the ground floor.

In January 2021, the restitution can finally be held, and despite still complex conditions that will not allow a real gathering, young people and teachers are participating in the setting up of the exhibition. A long-awaited moment to be able to meet one last time, discover the purpose of the installation and go to the end of the process.
