"It may seem odd, but I don't have a lot of human connections."

Eric Anthony

Eric Antoine is a self-taught photographer born in 1974. His photographic practice follows the rhythm of an old technique: that of wet collodion dating from the XNUMXth century. Slow and meticulous work, he himself prepares all the chemistry necessary for this process and uses a large format chamber. His images are suffused with a materiality from another time but remain fundamentally contemporary through their subjects and their compositions. Far from the frantic pace of digital technology and trips to the end of the world, Éric Antoine photographs what is close to him: his garden, the back of his house, his loved ones, everyday life, absence, the passing of time.
