The research and development phase of the IMAGES ET MOTS DU TRAVAIL educational kit was supported as part of the Images et mots operation: for innovative learning of French and towards integration into the world of work, co-financed by the Union European within the framework of the FSE Alsace 2014/2020 operational program, by the Regional Directorate of Economy, Employment, Labor and Solidarity Grand Est within the framework of Program 104, as well as by the General Delegation for Language French and the languages of France, as part of the 2021 national call for projects Cultural action and the French language. The IMAGES AND WORDS OF WORK educational kit is published with the support of the Grand Est Regional Directorate of Economy, Employment, Labor and Solidarity and AG2R AGIRC-ARRCO.

Exemplary Kodiko cycle

Since 2021, Stimultania has been invited twice a year by the Kodiko association which aims to promote the professional integration of refugees through a set of actions (employee-refugee co-training, CV creation workshop, company internship for example) to lead a cycle of IMAGES AND WORDS OF WORK workshops.

This regular mobilization of Stimultania within the framework of Kodiko's activities arises from a pragmatic observation: there are few spaces allowing refugees to discuss themes of the world of work in France and providing them with the specific vocabulary they need. in their professional life.

During three intensive days, those supported analyze images from the educational kit, note down vocabulary and gain confidence. During the last workshop, accompanied by a photographer-author, they take a portrait of themselves which they can use on the curriculum, their linkedin page or even for personal use.

Words from participants:

“The workshops allowed me to discover professions and words that I did not know. I really enjoyed talking with my classmates and realizing that we had completely different opinions on the same photo.”
Hackim

“I have lived in France for a long time but in fact I don't have much opportunity to speak French, I stay at home a lot and take care of the children. So I liked chatting in French and realizing that I am able to speak and also help when someone else doesn't understand.”

Iryna

“I don't know if I'll find work quickly but I learned some interesting things like that the boss has to give us a break to eat and that I shouldn't work too many hours in a row, no one will tell me said it.”
