Project initiated and managed by the Villa Pérochon with the partnership of the psychiatric department of the hospital of Niort / La Petite Cafète.

Project supported by la DRAC Nouvelle-Aquitaine, the Regional Health Agency of Nouvelle-Aquitaine as part of the Culture Santé call for projects, the Center Hospitalier de Niort, the PEPPSY association, Radio Pinpon and the Stimultania photography centre.

The exhibition and the book were made possible thanks to the Capsule system of the Ministry of Culture.

In 2021, one week per month, the artist visited La P'tite Cafète, within the psychiatric department of the Center Hospitalier de Niort. This place, developed as a classic brasserie run by two nurses, is open to everyone.

The opening will take place in the presence of patients and nurses from the Center Hospitalier de Niort, Brigitte Patient and Patrick Delat, director of Villa Pérochon.

Frederic Stucin has been a photographer since 2002. He collaborates with many media and institutions and pursues a personal artistic work, which mixes imaginary and real. His latest work, The Source (Maison CF, 2021) is an exploration of the banks of the Seine during the first déconfinement. Endorphine (Watermarks, 2021) embarks on the heart of clandestine sports training, during the health crisis. Only Bleeding (Éditions du Bec en l'air, 2019), is the story in pictures of a poetic wandering in the streets of Las Vegas. His photographs have been the subject of several exhibitions, notably with the Nicéphore Niépce museum in Chalon-sur-Saône, at the Hangar Photo Art Center in Brussels, at the Villa Pérochon in Niort, at the Vu' gallery in Paris.
