EXHIBITIONS

Stimultania programs 3 to 4 exhibitions per year. Group or solo exhibitions are part of a strong guideline: the founding themes - geopolitics, History, society - are always marked by an original curating and scenography.

In Strasbourg, Stimultania has been based since the end of 2006 in a former fire station; 200 m2 of concrete, metal and raw wood. The modular space has 90 linear meters on mobile picture rails, a storage place, a kitchen, offices and a documentation space. Each new exhibition gives rise to a new configuration of the space. Resulting from the dialogue between the scenographer, the artist and the curator of the exhibition, these layouts offer visitors a new understanding of the images on display. The strong, sometimes radical choices give substance to the works exhibited and create a new immersion with each exhibition.

On leaving the exhibition, visitors can freely consult the association's fund, made up of no less than 400 photo books made available in the library corner. Stimultania also promotes the artists exhibited by offering for sale monographs, collective works and self-published author's books.
